It's true, it's true, I'm a lazy bastard. But there has been reasons for not blogging.
One is that I'm moving house, and have spent a lot of time and energy finding somewhere to live. I now have, it's a cute little flat in Turnpike Lane and I move a week on Saturday.
One is that I don't own this PC, and am therefore beholden to the whims of my housemate. Now he, frankly, doesn't care when I use it as long as he doesn't want to, and he has been on it a lot lately.
But the main reason, and the one I haven't been able to blog about until now, is a cute, twenty three year-old PhD student who's been taking up rather a lot of my time recently. She's beautiful, generous, smarter than me and, for reasons I've yet to fathom, likes me a whole hell of a lot.
Things are good.

Sorry for the absence. It's been a funny couple of weeks.
However, back with a bang:
Oh my fucking sweet lord, look at this!!!
To be fair, if I know my audience at all, most of you won't be too excited, but I'm betting one or two of you will be - I'll see you there.

Sunday
OOOoooOOOoooooOOOOoohhhHHHhh
I learn this evening that I may be allergic to some kind of seafood (the specifics remain unidentified), but not until after a large helping of the stuff. I feel absolutely terrible, and an hour-long walk from Newington Green to Tottenham (in order to avoid throwing up on the no.73) was not the tonic I was hoping for.
It's all go on this blog...

Friday
To get home at 8.20 from work (well, work and the pub) to find that the clueless, mindless cocksuckers at Channel 4 have scheduled The West Wing at 7.30 on Friday evenings was not the kind of start any man's weekend ought to have.
Twats.
Twats.
Friday musicness
As I've spent most of my free time this week trying to mix and master the demo, I've spent much time listening to individual musical instruments. Over and over again. Is this snare right? Does the flute sound too bassy or two far away? Who brought that flugelhorn? You know, that kind of thing.
So, today's Friday music goodness is What is your favourite instrument, and why..?
One of mine is cello, for two reasons:
1) I like that hollow, woody resonance you can get with one.
2) I have a penchant for female classical musicians. You can work the rest out for yourselves.
Another is a Fender Jaguar guitar shoved through every pedal I can think of (with emphasis on lots and lots of delay) into a big pile of valve-driven amplifiers and then turned up very, very loud. I'm such a boy.
Tell me.
